The cosy, traditional holiday hotel Marmotte in the typical Walliser Chalet style is in calm, central situation of the glacier village. In the midst of the highest mountains of Switzerland Saas Fee beds itself like a precious bead into the unaffected nature of the Walliser alpine mountain chain.
In our renovated restaurant, which is arranged in a typical rustically Valais- style, we treat you to afresh seasonal Swiss cuisine.
In the morning you brace your self at a hearty “Saaser breakfast buffet”.
In the evening we serve a delicious 5- course menu with salad buffet.
Experience not only the flavour of Swiss and Valais dishes, but also enjoy some of our typical Valais speciality wines, which are made from little regional vintages.
Once in a week we arrange a typical Valais evening.
At candle light we serve either Swiss fondue or Swiss raclette.
At the first evening we enchant you with the traditional and mysterious Absinth- aperitif.
With a glass of one our wonderful fruit brandy’s you can relax at the fire place before the day fades away.
Our 4 bright and comfortable single rooms are equipped with shower or bath/WC, hair dryer, direct telephone, LCD-TV and radio.
All single rooms have a desk and a wardrobe available.
Guest- Supplies (shower cream, shampoo, soap etc.) are in the room at your disposal.
As well there is the possibility for a baby bed inside for a fee.
In our new renovated Wellness- Oasis, you can refresh your well-being after a nice and straining ski day and take a break from everyday life.
The wellness area has a sauna with daily changing flavours, 2 Jacuzzis, a steam bath and a
Relax- area.
In our Jacuzzis you can relax your muscles or stimulate your circulatory and blood flow.
In the steam bath you can regenerate your body. The steam is extremely good for your skin and for your airways
Or you can strengthen your body defences in the Sauna.
The following: squall shower, massage shower or Kneipp- tube completes your well-feeling.
In our rest- area you can refresh with a glass of glacier-water or with a relaxing tea or you can just close your eyes and recall the day.
Towels are at your disposal.
