► Location: in Tuscany, situated in the very heart of the Etruscan Coast surrounded by nature and sea, only 2 km from the Gulf of Baratti. 13 km from San Vincenzo and Piombino (ferry to Elba Island). Km 100 from Pisa airport.
► Resort Description: “Poggio all’Agnello” rises from an old typical Tuscan farm which has been restored as a beautiful Apartments Resort: our private beach in the suggestive Gulf of Baratti is only 2 km far from the structure. The 8 apartments buildings (ancient farms) and all the services are arranged in a large green area between the lawn and gardens with 3 swimming pools and sports facilities. The Resort is open the whole year.
► Services: The Resort has 3 pools: Olympic swimming pool, pool with hydrojet and children pool. Can be heated during winter. The 4 sport fields (with lightening) for tennis and soccer are available for our Guests while kids can enjoy the outdoor play area. Available also an indoor Kinder Club (Animation Service for children is available during high season). The bar terrace overlooking the pools is ideal for cocktails at sunset and the Restaurant, with its cozy atmosphere and its veranda during the summer, offers a typical Tuscan cuisine. Available in the Resort a small Market, Bazar, Laundry (coin operator), Gym, Infermery, Bike rental for adults and children, parking. Wi Fi service in the Resort. Private Church with possibility of celebrating Mass.
► Beach: our sandy private beach is situated in the suggestive Gulf of Baratti, only 2 km from the Resort. A shuttle service is available to get to the beach. Beach is equipped with sunshades, sunbeds and chaise longe. Beach service is on request, on availability and with supplement. For those who wants to visit many different places, you can reach beaches awarded the Blu Flag by the European Union in a few minutes by car.
► Apartments: 171 apartments (with kitchenette) spread over 8 buildings. They may have indipendent entrances (ground floor apartments) and are classified in: one room apartment (2 persons + 1); one room apartment + loft (4 persons + 2); two rooms apartments (4 persons +1); two rooms apartments + loft (5 persons); three rooms apartments (5 persons +1).
They are furnished in typical Tuscan style, with attention to details and arranged over 1,2 or 3 floors. Apartments with furnished terrace are also available.
All apartments include : kitchnette, telephone, safe, Tv sat, air conditioning/heating, bathroom with shower and hairdrier. Coffee maker and is available. Cot and high chair for children are available on request. Included at arrival : bed and bathroom linen, kitchen set and a small welcome kit (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, biscuits).
► Sport & Leisure: a wide range of additional sports facilities are available on payment from external services at a short distance: weekly private sailing courses (summer camps for sailing are organized for children), private windsurf and catamaran courses, kayak courses, diving and snorkeling trips. Possibility to get many levels of scuba diving license in a week. Riding courses (weekly summer camps are organized in order to approach children to ponies), riding itineraries with guide, private lessons in archery with weekly basic courses, hiking with specialized guides, excursions to the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago and to the typical medieval villages nearby, bike guided tour.
► Children: a wide range of additional amusement activities are available on payment from external services at short distance : big amusement park Cavallino Matto, big animal park Parco Gallorose, Water Parks, excursions to WWF oasis, to archeological parks, visits to the Astronomy Observatory, educational activities.
► Around the Resort: Poggio all’Agnello is closed to important Etruscan archeological sites. Visits with guides are available. The Resort is also in the proximity of beautiful WWF oasis, it is surrounded by typical medieval towns as Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci in an area famous for its wine (Bolgheri Doc) and its great cuisine. Also available hiking and bike itineraries. Moreover the Resort is only 15 km far from the Port of Piombino where take the ferry to Elba Island.
