Run by the Berlanda Family, the Hotel Castello is located in the characteristic, romantic, and quiet historical centre of Gardola in the municipality area of Tignale, marvellous balcony overlooking Lake Garda.
From some historical sources, it appears that the first stone was put at the time of Charlemagne. Used as a fortress and as a noble dwelling, in the first years of 1900 it became a School and in 1950 it was purchased by the Moschini Rocco family’s grandfather and in 1965 it was transformed in a hotel , thus maintaining its characteristics.
At the beginning the two sisters ( mother and aunt), then the two brothers (Fabrizio and Paolo) periodically renovated its inside and outside.The guests can enjoy a reading room, a satellite TV room, a bar, a small sun- tanning terrace, a garage to store motorcycles and bikes as well as wind-surf and a private parking for cars.
Our philosophy is to offer hospitality and welcome our guests in a warm way so that they feel at home, treated like friends in a family, clean, and warm environment.
Ideal location to spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday far from the daily stress.
In the hotel there is a restaurant at disposal of the guests who wish to stay "in family" also for their lunch and dinner. As everything here, the owners take care also of the kitchen, especially Paolo, the youngest brother that, after a few years spent in other restaurants to learn and get experience, has come back home to satisfy his clients. You can enjoy a typical Italian cuisine often accompanied by salad and vegetables grown in their own garden.
Another feature of the restaurant is the warm welcome and the service. Fabrizio, the oldest brother, shall take care of any of your needs and requests doing his best so that you can spend a pleasant holiday eating a very inviting dish with the perfect combination of wine.
The quiet hotel offers rooms with a charming view over the lake and the historical centre, some of them also have a balcony.All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, interphone, radio, TV, safe, phone and central heating.
