The Medieval Castello di Torre dei Calzolari was built in the second half of the XII century by Federico Barbarossa in the course of a military campaign in Italy; it later remained the property of noble families and only at the end of the 80's it started to be used as a hotel.
Surrounded by the greenery of an age-old park, housing the outdoor swimming pool, the Castello is a charming ambience of history and nature.
Today the hotel has various meeting and congress rooms, a banquet hall accomodating as many as 300 persons, the panoramic restaurant with typical regional cuisine, the TV room, the consecrated chapel and the library.
The rooms are provided with TV, mini-bar, direct dial telephone and air-conditioning and are situated in the outbuilding, the former noble villa, adjacent to the central body.
The charm of the structure, unique in its kind, offers an elegant and refined environment for relaxing moments and unforgettable occasions.
