"Baita Tosca" is a hotel/restaurant situated near the S. Fermo hills, a lovely upland area surraunded by the mountains of the Cavallina and Calepio valleys, at whose feet lie the beautiful lakes of Endine and Iseo.
The owner, Angelo Pievani has always managed the Hotel restaurant personally-together whit his friendly, welcoming family.
Today the "Baita Tosca" with its 25 comfortable bed rooms, large wood-pannelled, brick and beamed public rooms, as well as the panoramic terrace, is the most important tourist and gastronomic venue in the S. Fermo area.
The owner Angelo and his wife Lucia, with their long-standing experience and cordiality, look after their guests perfectly. They are helped by their son Gianluca and daughter Laura, as well as their uncle Marino whose love of flowers is reflected in the beatiful terrace he looks after personally.
From cooked meats to home-made cheeses, produced in local farms, from starters such as pasta made with nettles, gnocchi with local cheese (formai de müt) fondue, to typical stuffed ravioli (casonsëi de la Bergamasca) to the wide choice of game served with polenta.
Deer, hare and wild boar are only a few of the dishes which characterize the cuisine of the "Baita Tosca".
The menu is prepared by the Chef Gianluca, who with his long experience is gradually taking over from his father Angelo, and carrying on the old famyly traditions.
