Description

We are exactly between Milan, Como and Bergamo, and just two steps away from the Lake of Como! The park of Montevecchia and the valley of Curone, the Leonardo da Vinci’s ferry on the Adda’s river, and the lake of Sartirana are things to see close to us. In winter you can ski in less then an hour from us. In summer Liguria and Cinque Terre are about two and half hours away.

“Il Torchio” started in 1993 and is one of the first B&B in the area: we have had many guests from all over the world.
The house, a 17th century former mews is very close to the Castello of Calchi. This ancient building has a wonderful collection of rustic objet’s d’art. Marcella is a splendid cook, and Franco is an art expert. We speak English and French.
The B&B Il Torchio is in a very quiet area, and perfect for anybody who wants peace and calm.

Our B&B Il Torchio is at the top of a hill with a fantastic panorama, and we are surrounded by green and quite of the Milan countryside.
We offer three double room with private bathroom (en suite).

We offer dinner for our clients only, Marcella is a very good cook and her origin from Naples helps her to find the right melange to manege inbetween the traditional disches from the south to the north of Italy. Vegetables and fruits from the garden are our best ingredients.
